Hello little one. I was in a long distance relationship in the past with a little one. she lived over 5 hours away round trip distance. we were together for about two years. the distance put a strain on things. long distance relationships are hard enough without the added Daddy/little dynamic. that can make things harder when a little one needs her Daddy and vice versa. It isn't easy when you can't be there in a reasonable amount of time. I have been able to find little ones in my area more than I have outside my area. I wouldn't recommend a LDR to anyone. however if the connection is strong and it feels right then its up to the individual to decide.
I wouldn't relocate, personally. I have roots where i live and i would have been happy to bring a little to me. my baby girl lives fifteen minutes from my current home so thankfully I do not need to worry about that. I feel it would be the Daddy's responsibility to move a little one and provide for her. just my opinion of course.
I wish you the very best and hope that broken heart will mend itself soon:)
