I think those that will get her to interact with the story in the mind frame of a little one. I still think the above would work (Junie B and Magic Tree House) it leads to a teachable moment where Daddy can express his knowledge of a concept baby can't grasp, thus affirming her role and his. The style of the writing in Junie B is very similar to how a ittle one would be expected to talk, so a majority is still on her level. But there are always the good stand bys like Happy Birthday Moon, Good Night Gorilla (nearly a picture book) and pop up books. Pop-up books are GREAT :o) Just my opinion.
