You can drop little trial balloons, like saying that after a hard day at work or at other stressful times you just wish you could curl up in a little pocket of perfection and make the world go away. Or you can just say things like "I'm in a very girly mood right now!" and do happy girly things. See how he reacts. If a woman did things like that with me, my internal switchboard would light up big time, and I would think "Let's talk about this!! Maybe we can work something out!" Think of litle trial balloons in your own style, things that will not be an embarrassment if they fall flat. If not a single light on his switchboard comes on, he's not Daddy material.
