I'm against the whole 24/7 thing myself, because I think if you do it all the time it loses it's specialness. Though admittedly I'm not into the babys 24/7 thing either, I don't think thats healthy.
I find it much more attractive to me to have a functional mature adult that is willing to trust and share that vulnerable side with me, and trust me to be their protector and caretaker during that time.
vs
someone who's like this all the time, and can't function in rl. Though I do like the idea of "breaking" someone in for a period of time (like a vacation), by making them assume the lifestyle for an length of time, and then "potty training them", but again, there has to be allowances made for jobs and family, etc.
Some people need to for medical reasons, or are ok doing it 24/7...
Ultimately what it comes down to is: is this hurting or helping the person? If it's impairing their ability to function as an adult, then thats a bad thing.
