Daddy and I are first and foremost members of the "BDsM" community. Within our D/s dynamic we have a Daddy/little girl relationship. He is always my Daddy, though I'm not diapered, sucking a passy, etc, 24/7. We are members of the scene in a big city, and our friends readily accept my little girl side. Even from what I've read on websites, like Collarme.com it isn't frowned upon. I think the reason some BDsM players look down on AB's is that they find it hard to believe a submissive really is submissive when in AB role. I mean babies may not make the decisions, but their behaviors dictate the dominants action. Changing diapers, feeding, playing etc. The Dominant is, in a way, at the mercy of the child. I am not toting this as a correct view, only as one I've seen in various forums. My Daddy and I have talked about this extensively. While I am always his "little girl" in mind, I don't always exhibit those behaviors (I've gotta have my pain slut time!)and because sometimes he needs a little break. Are you in a big city? Because there are usually many groups, and perhaps you may find your place in another. Also, why do you seek a BDsM relationship? Daddy and I have found that we will never have a "twue" D/lg relationship, at least to many AB'ers, becaus we enjoy our D/s S/M time to much.
