Ah, just a word to the wise: “incessant chuckling’s” for chaps (generally those aged 60+) and if something’s really funny, these always the “hearty guffaw” (though perhaps that’s just in the UK). If you want something in keeping with those pink frillies, you really need to master the art of uncontrolled giggling. Drop me a line and I’ll forward the handbook :-)
That said, the French is pretty impressive - barely detected the hint of a drawl.
