I haven't figured out the victim thing myself, I think their probably moving a little too fast and homophobic, and it's getting them into more stuff than they can handle. The world is made up of all kinds of people, myself for instance, I havent been messing with the straight guys, but I do think they need to take a little more responsibility.
I sometimes say "no brats please" Personaly, I like a little brattiness, it makes things interesting, but the more brattiness, means more work, which for someone thats into domination, disciplinarian role would enjoy, more than a nurturing one. So I generally say I like a little resistance, but not all out brats (ie I don't want to fight and spend all my time disciplining and cleaning up) So I understand this, and unfortunately like you said many males have a tendency to give one-line responses. I will say "not into brats", but I'm willing to explore and expand upon that for understanding if the persons interested.
referring to the women you spoke of, saying she wanted someone "upper class" in this context, was tactless, and left me the impression that she thinks class is about money and career rather than culture. Which is exactly what would scare away the very people she says shes trying to attract. It's called the cinderella complex, theres nothing wrong with looking for your prince, and even being a princess, but princesses should be sweet and beautiful to all people, not pretentious and condescending.
Though I think every girl should have the right to be a princess or brat, it is the caretakers role to assert where the limits are while giving them the freedom to explore and grow safely.
