I haven't posted here for some time but wanted to share with all a wonderful time a baby girl friend of mine had last weekend.
Baby M is from Canada and it was her first trip to the Wash-Baltimore area. She arrived on Friday in a very wet Bambino with soaker and nursery print baby pants. My home is a short distance from the airport so she was soon in cloth diapers which are her favorite.
She loved the house but was blown away with the crib and little girl's nursery. After a long day for her, I put her in her crib well after mid-night and didn't hear a sound from the baby monitor until after 8.
A gave her bottle of juice while I changed her and told her she would have to stay in her crib and drink her ba-ba until Daddy had his coffee.
That afternoon she attended her first baby-munch hosted by Maco who also changed her at his home after the munch.
I fixed her a fabulous steak dinner Saturday night and later had a wonderful Daddy/baby evening until early morning.
I diapered her in Bambinos with heavy soaker for her plane trip home and as we drove to the airport she said it was the first time she was kept in diapers continuously for three days and so wished she could go 24/7.
She's called every day to thank me again for being such a loving Daddy despite the spanking she got for trying to get out of her crib after being put down for a nap.
And talked so much about how every baby girl should spend a long Daddy/baby girl weekend to get her head straight and how great she felt about herself for still being...yes just a baby.
