I would suggest a balanced and healthy approach, especially at your age, however don't deny who you are.
Don't stress and eventually, when you are comfortable with your next special someone, carefully and thoughtfully bring it up. If they are loving and mature (and have no childhood abuse related issues etc.) then things may very well work out for you.
