I feel the same way; I won't force a little one to do it if she is really against it. However I don't think I'd mind a dirty diaper once in a while. Like you said, it adds to the fact that she is in diapers for a reason and that she is little.
Also, some diapers don't have great tapes, and once you undo them they don't go back as strong. In that case do you waste a diaper because you had to undo it so she could go potty or do you make her mess them?
Or it could be a good punishment for a very bad girl (assuming she doesn't like going #2 in her diaper).
