Hi i'm 18 and in my first year of college. Luckily i live in a suite with my own room and 3 other suite mates with their rooms so it's really really nice to have to privacy. But in your case where you have a roommate..it can be really hard. Hopfully some of these tips will help u out.
#1: Always try to keep the covers covering the wetness 24/7 so that most of the smell won't escape.
#2: Get some Frebreze. In the morning if your roommate is still asleep or already gone to class..spray down the wet spot with the frebreze a lot and cover the spot back up..it will most likely overpower it.
#3: I would put like a towel or trashbag under the bed so that any leakage will land on it. The towel will soak it up and the smell shouldn't be noticable under the bed if u don't leave it there to get old and stinky, or if using a trashbag..throw it away every morning after you pee. This way the carpet won't get pee on it and start smelling. But if u'd just like the pee to fall on the carpet just spray it with Frebreze in the morning along with your sheets.
If your roommate leaves before you get up or before you leave, take a hairdryer to the bed to get the sheets to dry quickly.
Hope these tips work out for ya. If you'd like to talk email me at yellowstainedpanties@yahoo.com Would love to help you out more if you need it.
