A disadvantage of bedwetting is not being aware of the feelings as it happens, so sometimes I use a smaller bedpad, but under, not on top of the bottom sheet, and turned plastic side up so that at least I wake up in a puddle like I used to long ago, any piss that overflows onto the rubber sheet just seeps under the bedpad and gets absorbed.
I usually wet my bed deliberately at least once, but especially when I wake up wet so that I can enjoy what I missed while asleep.
