I have been a bedwetter on and off all my life. I think the school that I attended seemed to be more tolerantly of bedwetters than some because no one was ever teased and it was just an accepted part of life that there would be ten or sometimes fifteen draw sheets and pairs of pyjamas hanging on the washing line at breaktime. There was only one boy who wore nappys and plastic pants, he was a dayboy who wet during the day. I gave up wearing pyjamas around puberty at home as I thought it would ease Mother's washing load and have usually slept nude ever since (I am more precautionary when away from home).
For years if I didn't wake up in a puddle I usually made one, until bedpads came along; the latest high quality ones are so good that within five minutes of flooding them, their surface almost feels dry. I am very fortunate that I get given mine for taking part in continence clinic trials. I use a 45"X60" up and down the bed that is meant to go accross a double bed; I very seldom over flood it (my trusty rubber sheet takes care of anything if I do) and I recon I've had my money's worth many times over from my breathable waterproof duvet cover, so, whether lying on my front, back or side, asleep or awake, I wet without a worry, and I definitely enjoy wetting more when my wetting is not restricted within nappys and rubber pants.
Just out of interest, I would like to try "PeeJs", but their web site has said...."sorry, out of stock"..... for the last couple of years.
