My parents kept me in nappies at night until I was 7 or 8 years old because I constantly wet the bed. On the advice of the doctor or maybe the district nurse. I was taken out of nappies because it was thought if I felt wet and uncomfortable I would eventually become dry at night. It never worked. I'm in my late 40's now and still wet the bed most nights.
