as a child I had a lot of pants wetting accidents
and even more bedwetting accidents .
as I got older the pants wetting slowed down but the bedwetting never did slow down.( do not think it will)
haveing your mattress covered with a plastic sheet is a good thing to do.
it is not as hard to clean .
you might like to find a rubber sheet it will last longer.
