Peeing laying down is the most natural thing for me too> I have never had any difficulty in this. As for shame I have got over this now. When I was wetting on purpose especially as I got older I would some times feel shame and occaisionally guilt from hiding the fact I did it on purpose and enjoyed my bed wetting when everyone thought I couldn't help it.
Since regressing in to almost nightly sleep wetting these feeling have gone and I have accepted being a bed wetter is just who I am meant to be
