I was a member of plasticfetish for years, a group with probably 100 or so active members and 8 or 9 times that in total, that had been up and running for three years. We had a database, lots of photo files etc., and a pretty good online community.
Yahoo apparently took a dislike to it, because it just vanished without warning and without a trace one day a few months ago.
I'll never join any other Yahoo group.
