First off, you idea that children do not have issues is simply not true.
First off, children do attack each other for stupid reasons. And the interesting thing, which humanists cannot accept, is that children do NOT have to be taught to attack each other. It is NOT initially learned via oprant conditioning.
It is the internal sin nature that lie within each of us. By nature, small children are stingy. Nobody teaches them that--quiet the contrary--we must teach them how to share.
You've obviously never taken a passing trip through a child care. If you do, you will see small children, just able to crawl around, taking what they want from other children. And once it happens, viola, it's a cat fight!
On the other hand, small children look towards adults with open minds. Since they have not yet developed their personal filters, they are eager to learn what is "acceptable" behavior and what is not. Yes, this is a good thing and a bad thing. We develop filters that help us to interact properly and improperly. Some filters help us to know when to stay and when to run. Others teach us that prejudices are wrong and unfortunately some teach us to be prejudice.
Having said that, realize that--regardless of pop psychology--aggression is inate to the human condition. I've never seen a parent teach a child to take a truck and beat another child with it. It is called sin, and we are all filled with it!
