Well, let's see:
In basically all of the industrialized nations, adults involving a minor in sex is a crime.
We do not wish to commit or be an accessory to crimes. One effect of that might be to shut down our nice bulletin board.
Also, in the US, there are newspaper stories where even policemen have been arrested for arranging to meet what they thought were children over the internet. Turned out the "kid" was actually a cop. Food for thought.
Also, although most of us like diapers or want to BE like a little kid, that does not mean that we wish to harm children or push our psychosexual needs on children, with strong possibility of harm. On the contrary, there are at least a few actual parents on this board, and others who function in that role in their offline lives.
Finally, there are a few predators out there. Pointing to the DPF article was the best way I could think of of telling that child, real or feigned, about the problem. It also put any policeman who might be reading on notice that this board is not a place where a child will be in danger. And if you are a predator, it lets you know that we are against you and don't want your kind here, and are going to warn your prey off.
