Use diapers 24x7 for long enough and you will loose control eventually. I understand it can take years for some people. Surgery would be quicker, but lots more expensive. Plus, you're going to have to find someone willing to do it and it would most likely be irreversible. Doing it yourself, at least you can choose to quit later.
