Yep I'd say so. My camera is good enough but it still causes me lots of grief. Im thinking about purchasing a digital camcorder too, I was impressed with some of the models I've seen that come with night vision technology.
For now I'll stick with the one I have. It was quite a good camera like 2 years ago but now its starting to fall behind as you can get 3.5 and 4 megapixel ones now. If you were to go for the digital camera I'd recommend a lexar memory stick for it cause it gives you 128 mb of storage space. Which I think can be used for up to 40 minutes of video or 100's of photos. (depending on size format of the photos) I have a Sony memory stick but it was more expensive and has much less space on it.
