Well,it is certainly possible by many accounts to learn to wet in your sleep,probably easier than learning to wet uncontrollably while awake.
If you do the "drink a lot and then go straight to bed" OFTEN,always wetting when the urge hits you,you should reach the point that it won't wake you any more,and when you're usually waking up in wet diapers you can taper off the drinks.If your boyfriend wants to help you become a real bedwetter this should become a shared experience for you and he can make sure you stick with the program.
There was a "Daddy's Girl" named Tanya who posted here a few months ago about how it took her months,but she now wets almost constantly whenever she goes to sleep without any trace of control.If she's still reading this board maybe she could give you more advice.
