Don't worry about your writing, it isn't perfect but it communicates easily.
Spending most of your waking weekend hours alone in a locked cage isn't healthy. There are several issues which make me think that your activities are beyond the BDSM community boundaries of safe, sane, and consensual (SSC). First, your friends are concerned enough to have you write. Second, should anything happen (like a fire, or an unwelcome visit from the cops, or just a power outage, or a water or gas leak) in that house, you are helpless and could easily die as a result. It will take about three to five miserable days to die of thirst. It will take perhaps six hours to flip out in total darkness. You can't please ANYONE if you are dead. Kim and Mike will also probably go to jail if something happens to you, and you will probably be in the hospital involuntarily for a while.
If I were Amy Alkon (The advice goddess), I'd tell you that I don't think your current master is taking very good care of you--good masters watch their slaves with some care, and the locks are only there to show intent, not to actually stop anything. If you think about locking baby pants, for example, anyone with a knife could cut off the cloth parts leaving the wire around the waist.
I think an experience like yours would depress me severely. I think you need to pick up on a BDSM-type support group. In the mean time, I suggest you attend some other people's play parties to see how things go.
And keep on writing...it pleases the master..
