You can use it longer if it feels comfortable. If it starts to feel uncomfortable, have a longer break. There is no special reason why you could not use it a long time. There is just one thing I’m sure you want to avoid, haemorrhoids. If the plug causes a wrong kind of pressure to the tissues and veins around your anus then you might get some haemorrhoids. Using a lot of lubricant helps to avoid them. Most important is the shape of the plug. That’s a complex thing to explain but in general it should not feel uncomfortable. I use self made plugs, those are made of silicon. Night time is the easiest time to use them a long time as there are no outside pressure like when you are sitting. Enjoy.
