Notes on the message board:
I have been watching the board off and on for about two years now. There is a small, pretty well-defined group of regulars (kalory, jereab, myself, MMK, and some others) who will probably be posting here a year from now. However, most of the posters seem to come, sometimes like a ton of bricks (Messy mama), and then quietly disappear, often within the month, having gathered to themselves the comfort of not being unique and having learned the answers to the frequently asked questions: Is there someone here in my area? How do I buy my kind of diapers? What do I do about diaper rash? Is my future mate likely here?(NO) How do I tell my S.O.?
From this, I conclude that my increased acting out, noted above, may place me in the minority. I think the majority who come here are sort of "trying it on", and then come to figure out how much work it can be and get bored..either that, or they find out where more understanding people hang out that they can get to in person, and then find out how much more satisfying AB/DL is face-to-face, and forget all about wetset's message board.
