That's always been my observation about babies too, but I have never had anyone else agree with it. I also think most babies, especially toddlers know when they have to poop, and the toddlers, at least, make a conscious effort to poop in their diapers or training pants. Pee is different, all babies, and some older kids and adults pee while asleep. I have and still might on occasion.
