welll its not exactly that easy.. what you do have to do it take the patern and imagine how it would look on a child then imagine how it would look on an adult.. and measure your fractions from how it would fit IE waist, knee to crotch, crotch to shoulder, etc and will have to figure out which parts of the patern match that length and lengthen according to your measurments...do test paterns first.. with REALLY CHEEP fabric to get the sizing right, then when its right make it in the fabric you would like to see it in... and thats about how ya do it
try not to get anything with princess seams... curved seams for adjusting size are hell
