Wow! Talk about BOLD! I have not done something quite like that in a number of years, but once, I did something very similar.
Another time, I was in the hallway outside my office, just walking along, in a dead corridor. I filled my panties while walking slowly, and as I turned a corner to get to the bathroom, a huge crowd of people, probably mostly visitors, came around that corner in the opposite direction. I reversed course, for a short distance, and as they passed by, I turned back again toward the bathroom, which I reached without further incident, and began my cleanup - that one was probably about as messy as yours was.
First of all, I don't think diapers will help the clean up much. When you have soft poop like that, and it gets spread all over your back side (is that like always?), the cleanup is always a bit arduous - you don't lose much by wearing them, and you also lose a LOT of the visibility of the bulge. No, I do not prefer them.
with regard to the mess that you want to squish... Well, you and I both know that sitting on the potty at work is not like sitting on the potty at home with the lid down - the office potty has no full lid (maybe they have had these problems before - do you suppose?). But one time, in one of those fits of 'just do it'... like yours... I sat on the potty, but not over the hole! I sat on the side of the potty so that my butt crack was directly over the side of the seat. Yes, as you can guess, I wound up with a bit of a dribble to the floor out the leg band, but I captured that before anyone else came in. Now, THAT got a bit messy, too.
As for the panties, I have another help that I use to avoid the embarassment of what happened to you when your son was exposed to your panties. Because my panties are in a baggie, there is little or no odor while they are there. Once I return home with them in the baggie, I put them, baggie and all into a drawer, or hide them in the cabinet, in the bathroom. No one is going to go rumaging in the drawers to suddenly find this small package, and even if they do, they won't find much - they are certainly not looking for them. Then, when everyone is busy with TV or something, I can return to the bathroom, put the panties into a quick rinse, and soak, and have them hanging to dry (usually in the shower) for a full washing later.
You GO GIRL!!!! It is soooo awesome that you can muster the courage to just let go in your panties, and put yourself into these various possibly embarassing situations. But believe me, I know the extra thrill that you get before, and that ultra special tingle that you have, in the aftermath of the cleanup. I will always share the joy that you have, and will likely carry lots of envy for you and your situations, that allow you to have this enjoyment.
