Actually I love it either way. Firm is nice especially when I don't have much time. It still excites me yet is easy to clean up. When I have plenty of time to play I do prefer it soft and mushy as I really enjoy the feeling of having poop spread all over my bottom. But what is most important is simply that I have poop in my pants. That's what I truly enjoy!
