I too went through quite some time of shame and self doubt for this--in fact I hated myself for alot of my life. Couldn't figure why I had this, why I couldn't leave it, and why it worked the way it did.
Then by coincidence I was fortunate enough to meet many people with very liberal sexual views and although I never shared this with them, they helped me forgive ME. Then I started reading the psychology behind this.
Fetishes are conditional and thus are caused by an event that affects psychology. I, for example, was constipated as a baby and the anal retention stage got fucked. Now I'm here.
They say different interuptions and fixations in the anal stage can cause problems and one that even Wikipedia lists is coprophilia.
Basically all people were like this once. All stages of life are sexual, just not physically until much later. The beginning stages are psychologically sexual. The oral stage is followed by the anal stage where it's believed that the concept of controling the anus is a focus in many ways including sexual. So problems in this stage may stop development in ways. We just didn't grow up in this one area. Supposedly everyone was like this once but moved past it.
And remember that you can't be persecuted for something you have no choice about that doesn't hurt anyone. Anyone that opresses you I honest to God believe is being sexist.
We're here for reasons against our will. We hurt no one. We don't even fucking tell people. Nothing outside of sexuality changes then. We're mostly good people with an odd sexual disposition. And you don't know who else might have this issue. Your heroes might be copropheliacs.
So as long as you keep it to yourself, feel free to practice this fetish. It's your right. Sexuality is one of our birthrights and just because our's is odd doesn't mean we should destroy it or destroy ourselves over it.
