It's been a long time since I've posted here, or had any real reason to. But something happened today I have to share.
I was out of town at a business meeting a little over an hour from home. Before I left the remote office I filled up my travel mug with coffee and hit the highway. Nothing extraordinary, but along the way I began to feel that, because of all the coffee, I would be having a nice bowel movement when I got home.
I stopped at the bank machine in town, and while I was out of the car began to feel a little more urgency. Normally I'm well in control of this, and it caught me by surprise. I started home and I knew I had to go, but everything was fine. The last mile or two though my stomach was churning and I began to really have to go bad.
Everything was still ok as I turned onto my street and I knew I was going to make it home. But no sooner had I parked my car and got out of the door when I felt a little bit of soft poo, it was like it just leaked out into my underwear. I clenched tight to hold it in and made my way to the door, and that was it. No cramps or anything, just a sudden inability to hold on. First one wave, then another, and my pants were filled with a very messy poop.
This took me completely by surprise - nothing quite like this has ever happened to me. It's not like I lost control, it was like I had none. Thank goodness my husband wasn't home.
