For those people that don't have a map handy: The city sits in the german corner of the place where the frontiers of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany meet. It's a small city with a medieval core, and is known mostly because of its history and because has the RWTH Aachen, one of the wold's top tech Universities (I'm a Student there).
