In general I am not turned on by people who are in the midst of experiencing misery and humiliation. Like yourself, I just feel sorry for them.
On the other hand, two consenting adults in the bedroom who joyfully agree to try something kinky -- now that is magical and sexy and should be encouraged!
I do, however, find myself curiously attracted to this story. My most recent fiction, "Katy the Cougar," was written because I have always had fantasies about doing it in a university setting. Why? I don't know. I think the contrast between the realm of the higher intellect and the realm of the intensely primal is kind of exciting. It is a contrast which has been important in my own life.
But I still feel sorry for her.
