You wouldn't have to "chase" Emily.
My husband managed a restaurant bar at a Radisson Hotel. Lots of business travelers stayed there. Like all businessmen away from home, they tried their best to get into bed with the barmaids. In order to keep the customers happy, my husband only hired total sluts as barmaids. So Emily didn't need to be "chased" -- just asked nicely.
