Thought I might add something to this thread from a Daddy's perspective. First, the reins from Wilf are excellent: they are totally realistic and if you like the smell of leather, you're in a for a treat. You can personalise the motifs you have on them from the slelction Wilf offers. He also makes large terry/plastic backed bibs.
Second, I'm sure that most ABs like to put in reins because it is in some ways letting another person take control over them. If the reins have long leather straps these can also be used to moor a fidgeting bABy to a chair at meal times. We use reins indoors and out but with care - the feeling of wearing nappies and being in reins is quite a thrill, or so I'm told!
Just some thoughts for what they are worth.
