I'm no expert or anything but here's my thoughts. You are most likely fine. The reason for boiling is probably just in case there is something on there, and to protect them from being sued or something if a person were to get sick or whatever.
An adults immune system, and tolerance to yucky things is built up more than an infants, so its probably less likely that you would have a problem.
If there was anything yucky tasting, rubber/oil/ect you wouldn't have used it, but prolly spit it out.
It's not too late to boil and give it a good washing now and probably a good idea to do every once in a while anyhow. I wash my babygirls paci pretty often... darn thing falls on the floor alot!
Where did you find glow in the dark, and what brand? I found some once that had flashing lights, unfortunatly they are more novelty than for real use :(
