As a girl, I would agree with LE and Chris. Change the red ones just as you would the others... UNLESS she's used to using tampons and would feel more comfortable continuing with those. Then you should really ask her whether she'd prefer you changing them (awkward, maybe, but no worse than changing diapers ;)) or if she'd like to do that herself during diaper changes. Just make sure you do it often enough! :) If she's already using pads, she won't even notice the difference between using a pad and using a diaper. It's already almost the same thing, anyways ;)
