Wow! So cynical. From whom then do you take advice? From your friends?
I ask because based on the language of your earlier posts, you're *desperate* to make friends -- seemingly to make friends with those people who you consider "real" -- just like you are. :)
If so, who then do you trust?
Maybe instead, you should trust someone who has championed women's voices here in the diaper community. Someone who has hosted 11 diaper group gatherings exclusively for women. Someone who hosted nearly twenty real-time group meetings, and nearly all of these meetings had women guest speakers. Even better, maybe that someone hosted meetings where the majority of the guest speakers were women. Maybe you should trust someone who ran and heavily moderated an online group so as to prevent HNG men from harassing the women there. Maybe someone who set up defined rules of etiquette protecting women, and who banished those men who disobeyed those rules. And perhaps this person wouldn't accept a dime for all of her/his hard work, just to show you and the rest of the diaper community that her/his intentions were completely on the up-and-up. Maybe you would accept advice from *that* person?
Oh wait -- that person is me. But I'm no one to you.
Instead, perhaps you should keep taking advice from whomever it is that presently counsels you. Because its obvious to all of us here that your current strategy is working so well for you.

I stand by my earlier comment: I'm continuously amazed by diaper folk -- they seem to become increasing *MORE* wrong about things as the years go by.
