Wetting the diaper a bit before sleep so you are sleeping wet is fine...but I would caution against the slacking off on the drinking...you need to make wetting in your sleep the answer to the "being sleep-deprived",not postponing the wetting you want to happen overnight until the morning!
Time the drinks so that the time you MUST wet is a time you WANT to be asleep...and keep it there until the sleeping overrides the wetting urge.You want the bladder filling to occur in the deepest part of your sleep (a couple hours after you doze off) so it will be hardest to wake.
Once your body stops waking you with the urge (which takes steadily getting used to wetting whenever the urge wakes you) you will slowly move from a full bladder triggering an urge to the slow steady overnight dribble of the true bedwetter.
As noted before...I have not tried this myself,but I've read a lot,and taught a few "correspondence students"...I'd love to have a gal become my hands-on student!
