I was at boarding school in the 1940's. As I recall in the 7 years there, well over 30 of us were bedwetters for all or part of the time, in a school of 50ish (double that and add a few for those that came and left). Nobody made any undue comments about it, it was taken a natural part of the stress of wartime life,
I have met about 10 of them in later life and when I broached the subject, only one wet as an adult.
