If by 'Upmarket' you mean more expensive places I agree, they are less likely to make issue over it. I am not a bedwetter per se but do occasionally wake up really needing to pee and just let go in the bed on purpose. I have also enjoyed being with partners who do likewise and often those occasions have been in hotels of various price points, none to date has ever taken action though one maid became angry with us until we placated her with a few extra presidential portraits, after that she calmed down and told us about other couples who left wet and even messy beds/rooms but no extra tips.
I also briefly dated a woman who works as a 'Night Auditor' at a mid-priced chain hotel and she also told me of numerous wet bed occasions and the few messy ones as well. Their chain would discretely bill the client's credit card for the mattress sanitizing service if there had been no advance notice to protect the bedding.
