I think you are right as I child I nearly always wet my bed and have to admit I quite liked being a bed wetter from an early age which has continued all through my life. Deciding to regress back to sleep wetting after years of deliberate wetting with some accidental un planned wet beds wasn't hard for me and I have never regretted it.
