I have to admit, Up until now I have always been a disposable diaper bedwetter. My wife can handle a disposed of wet diaper in the trash, but she isn't that keen on wet underwear or the idea of cloth diapers. Anyhow, this week I was traveling. I purchased some diapers for the trip. I tried the new attends extended wear breathable diapers. But unfortunatly, they don't fit me well. I ordered the regulars and I guess I should have ordered the large. So here I am in a prime diaper wearing week without any really good diapers to wear. I did have waterproof pants with me. I usually wear them over the diaper to help prevent leaks. Anyhow, I decided that instead of one of the ill fitting diapers, I would make something do. I put on two pairs of underwear. and I took the hotel hand towel, folded it to fit like a diaper stuffer, and inserted it in between the pairs of underwear. It felt great. Nice and bulky. I went to bed happy. When I woke in the middle of the night to pee, I just let it go. Usually I have to dribble it a little to ensure that the diaper gets most of it. But the cloth got it all. It was awesome. Even better was when I woke up in the morning. Nicely wet all over. What got me really excited though was the smell. I know that they say that scents are a very strong memory trigger. But I didn't really expect anything different then a disposible. However, when I awoke and caught the faint sent of pee from my diaper it was like I was transmited back to being a three year old. The scent was just a little different. Probably something that they put in the disposible to control odor that the cloth "diaper" didn't have. It was awesome! I got very excited and soon wet my diaper slightly differently. Anyhow, that it. I will have to go back to disposibles at home. But from now on, when I'm on the road, I'm going to try the improvised diaper. If you were a cloth baby like me, and haven't tried cloth diapers, I strongly suggest that you give this a try. BTW I just rinsed the towel out thoroughly, wrung it out till it was just damp, and then left it for the maid. I'm sure she had no idea. The underwear, is still damp. But I can iron it dry.
