If you don't like nappies and plastic pants why not get a terry towelling cover for your matteras. I can understand why your parents want you to wear nappies as constantly washing wet sheets is no fun. I wet my bed all through my teens ( still do ) and wore all kinds of incontinence wear and had a plastic sheet on my bed. I was expected to deal with my own laundry and change my own wet sheets.
