Funny you should mention this connection.
In my late teens, some years after I had stopped wetting the bed without alcohol, my gran died very suddenly.
The night of her death my Mum drove us to to my gran's house to be with my grandad. I slept on the sofa in their living room and peed myself in my sleep.
To this day that remains the only 'sober' genuine bedwetting incident I have had since I 'grew out' childhood bedwetting.
