Sorry, I should have said - I'm a gay male with a pee fetish! I really don't know what policies other hotels have regarding bedwetting but I have no problem with it whatsoever so would never charge anybody for a wet bed, even if I suspected it was deliberate.
Actually, with matress protectors it is very easy to deal with - just a little bit of extra laundry.
By contrast, I do charge people for smoking in the rooms as we are strictly a non smoking establishment. The reason for this is that the clean up is usually very time consuming, de-odorising carpets, repacing soft furnishings etc and more often than not it is not possible to use the room the following night.
