My girl cousin did not wet the bed, but we were closer in age and had a good repore.I can't imagine how I brought up the subject but remember her answer distinctly.As for the boy I think he continued to just wet the bed without protection. Doesn't seem that it went on too long. For myself I did wear the Gerber plastic panties and others as I got older, along with cloth birdseye diapers. Hated them then, love them now.
