Having worn diapers for bedwetting all of my life, I find wearing in the hospital to be embarrassing, but not for the usual reasons. It seems there's alway at least ONE nurse who is bothered by this, and want's to help you get out of them, like you've never been to a doctor, (Urologist). If you answer that you have been to a doctor, then they look at you funny because you voluntarily wear diapers, there must be something wrong with you.
As you can probably guess, I just got out of the hospital, and although I think this nurse thought she was being helpful, I really get annoyed by this. I wear diapers instead of condom catheters, etc, because I find them to be much more comfy, 'nuff said! I did have one other embarrassing moment when my diaper fell down as I was walking the corridor. It was comical as a nurse, who saw my predicament rushed over and tried (successfully), to pull it back up! Wow, was I red in the face!
