I think anything that evokes memories of a more innoccent time can trigger things like this off. I always feel happy and contented wheni am wet. I think it is a safety and stress relieving mechanism in the brain taking us back to a better time. The smell and feel of my wet bed and the feeling of actually peeing in bed and lying in it is how I spent all my nights during childhood years. I guess as an adult I have always sought this same sense of security.
