Anybody associate going to bed early (like while it's still light out) with bedwetting. Because I was a bedwetter,I was put back in diapers like a baby and also had to go to bed at 7 P M when other "babies" went to bed. I remember how I felt laying there in my diaper,with a rubber sheet on my bed and looking out the window where I could see and hear kids my age and younger playing.It was still light out and the rule of thumb in most families was kids could stay out till dark except of course young kids, and I was in that group.Once in a while one of my friends would come knocking at the door asking if I could come out and play.They would be told that I was in bed for the night.
It was embarassing to explain it to them the next day,I usually said I was being punished or that I was sick.I was afraid they would find out I was sent to bed because I was a bed wetter.
